Telescope visits

Two separate trips are being organised on the last date of the meeting (16th Oct). Sign-up sheets will be available during the first two days of the meeting for participants to register themselves for either of the two trips. Lunch will be arranged for trip participants at the GMRT site.

Visit to IGO and GMRT

Departure from IUCAA: 0800 hours
Return to IUCAA: 2000 hours

This trip will visit both the IUCAA Girawali Observatory (IGO) which houses a 2 m optical telescope and the Giant Meterwave Radio Telescope at Khodad, near Narayangaon.

Visit to GMRT only

Departure from IUCAA: 0800 hours
Return to IUCAA: 1700 hours

This trip will only visit the Giant Meterwave Radio Telescope at Khodad, near Narayangaon.
